門戶(portal)。原意是指正門、入口,現多用于互聯網的門戶網站和企業應用系統的門戶系統。

WAP(無線通訊協議)是在數字移動電話、因特網或其他個人數字助理機(PDA)、計算機應用之間進行通訊的開放全球標準。這一標準的誕生是WAP論壇成員努力的結果,WAP論壇是在1997年6月,由諾基亞、愛立信、摩托羅拉和無線星球(Unwired Planet)就共同組成的。
WAP (Wireless Communication Protocol) is an open global standard for communication between digital mobile phones, Internet or other personal digital assistants (PDA) and computer applications. This standard was born as a result of the efforts of members of the WAP Forum, which was formed in June 1997 by Nokia, Ericsson, Motorola and Unwired Planet.
